I plan to use the impact of Send Me Now for my role in leadership at the BCM. I look forward to using what I’ve learned to help my conversations flow better and help me to get out of my comfort zone.

I was encouraged to step out in faith, even when I was nervous, and that the Lord is always with me and works things out for my good. I built new friendships with those who love the Lord like I do.

This experience profoundly impacted me… I learned the value of humility and putting others before myself. I realized that I didn’t need to have it all together to make a difference in the kids’ lives. Instead, I could rely on God’s guidance and provision.

My experience was a spiritual revival that I didn’t know I needed. I learned so much about my faith, myself, and Jesus. Through this trip the Lord also revealed areas to me where I am weak and need to be strengthened by him. My trip also helped me to become more comfortable and confident in sharing my faith with others.

Before this trip, I didn’t know how to share Jesus. I’ve done little evangelism in the past with people I already knew. Now, I can go up to anyone boldly and share the gospel thanks to the training I received and the practice I experienced on this trip!

My trip helped me to see the importance in being available and willing to do whatever whenever the Lord asks. It also reminded me to always be listening to what God is saying, seeking to see His hand at work and to join Him in that.

My trip helped me to focus on how much the little things matter in ministry, and to remind me to not get discouraged when I feel like I haven’t made an impact. It’s okay for me to not make a large impact, as long as I stir the dust a little.

My next step in missions is to keep serving people not just around the city or even the state, but hopefully around the world. I want to be able to be the disciple of all nations.

My experience is Oslo, Norway greatly impacted my spiritual walk with Christ. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to go overseas and see the Gospel at work. Previous to this summer, I had never done cross-cultural mission work. My eyes have been opened to the pure greatness of God, in that he is working across oceans. God is not tied to one culture, but he loves every tribe, tongue, and nation deeply. I learned that though culture may impact how ministry is done, truth remains the same. I have gained greater appreciation for international missions and missionaries.

God used me beyond what I thought was possible in so little time. I made friends with people that I’ll cherish forever. I was a part of a machine of a team that could translate any conversation back to the Gospel, and I overcame obstacles like sickness where it would normally be impossible.
