Grant Supported Opportunities
Students may apply directly to the GenSend (North American Mission Board) or another Send Me Now Partner Ministry listed below. Students who are approved to serve may apply for a Send Me Now grant. Grants cover all field costs up to $600 and paid directly to the ministry.

GenSend Summer
GenSend Summer offers students an opportunity to join God’s great story in some of North America’s greatest cities! It is an immersive exploration of what it means to live intentionally in community while sharing the gospel in a new city.

GenSend Compassion
Serve alongside Send Relief staff at ministry centers in strategic locations around the country that meet practical needs and change lives with the hope of the gospel.

Zona Camp Crew, Riverside, CA
Join a team of college students to help staff the statewide youth camp for the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention. The camp is located at California Baptist University in sunny Riverside, California.

Elevate Camps Internship, Redding, CA
Elevate Camps serves over 1500 campers each summer. As part of our team you will help with camp programming, have the opportunity to counsel with students and lead them to Christ.

Urban Immersion, Mission Centers of Houston, TX
In addition to community-based ministry, summer missionaries will lead visiting youth and family mission groups in prayer walking and serve alongside them in all of the MCH ministries.

Metro New York Baptist Association
Support local churches in the metro New York area through various ministries purposefully created to meet specific needs.

Mission Arlington
Our missionaries lead Summer programs in cooperation with our mission congregations, and assist in the ongoing work of the Mission in its variety of forms.

Mapes Baptist Church, Vanderhoof, British Columbia
Mid-May through July, depending on availability
Summer interns are needed to help facilitate weekly summer activities for children and older young people. This will include Bible Studies on Sunday mornings as well as on Wednesdays nights. In addition, it is hoped that discipleship groups for older youth would meet separately throughout the summer.

Impact Ministries Myrtle Beach, SC
May 28- July 29
4 females, 2 males
$2,000 stipend included (Send Me Now grant will not be needed or provided.)
Join other collegiate students in assisting with day camps, night camps, beach ministry, senior living communities, international café, entertainment complexes sculpting balloons, and face painting with the goal of sharing God’s love and the Gospel.
More opportunities may be added during the fall of 2022.
Fully Funded Opportunities
There are short term opportunities in North America which are fully funded Send Me Now teams. Teams are comprised of a limited number of students. To apply and be approved for one of these opportunities, students must meet the qualifications below and complete the application and appointment process. Each team will be led by a Georgia BCM Campus Minister.

Arizona
May 20-May 30

Reach families and communities through a variety of evangelism events, including prayer walks, faith conversations, backyard Bible clubs, block parties and more!

Disaster Relief Team
1-2 Weeks (locations and dates of service vary as needed)
5-10 students per team
Are you ready for some hard work? Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Then let’s get on the bus and lend a hand wherever we can! Be ready for manual labor—clean-up, rebuilding, whatever is needed.

Morgan Grace Church, Morgan, Utah
May 27 – June 2
5 Male Students
Team members will spend time serving and encouraging the local congregation, working in student ministry, engaging in community outreach, and prayer walking future church plant communities and local universities.

New Orleans, LA
June 4-13
5 Students
Help the homeless population by doing “under the bridge” ministry, and help people out of the Sex and Human Trafficking industry. Join community beautification projects and various outreach evangelism as directed by church planters trying to reach those in their neighborhoods.

Noonday Baptist Association Interns
6-10 weeks, beginning June 1 and depending on availability
2 Students – Must have completed at least 3 years of college
Interns will be involved in prayer walks, canvassing, refugee work, engaging missions teams in local churches, organizing mission projects, and helping develop a mission center in the area.
