Camp Chula Intern

The Camp Chula Intern will work with the Camp Chula Director to promote the Camp Chula week, aid the volunteers & teachers in set-up for Camp Chula, and serve/minister to children and families who attend Camp Chula. This ministry is a lot of work and a lot of fun!
FBC Brunswick, GA
Full Summer

Encounter intentional discipleship as you serve on staff at FBC Brunswick. On a weekly rotation, every intern will get a chance to learn in all areas. If you feel called to ministry, this would be a great taste of what ministry full-time looks like.
Mission ATL
May 29 – June 28

Students will be involved in prayer walks, engaging mission teams in local churches, organizing mission projects/camps, and helping develop a mission center in the area. Teams will help at least three underserved churches run a VBS, a sports camp, and a community service risk-taking camp.
The Living Vine, Savannah, GA
Full Summer
4 female students, must be 21 years old
During your time with us, you will work with our full-time staff to love and teach residents, love on their babies, and work in our thrift store, Blessingdales, a thrift store used as a job training site for our residents.

This particular location meets Phoenix inner city needs through building relationships with youth via food and clothing pantries, pregnancy centers, and a local behavioral health assisted living facility. This location also partners heavily with Arizona State University.
Metro New York Baptist Association – Multiply

Work alongside a local urban ministry, while being trained and equipped as a missionary by hearing from pastors, missionaries, and church planters experienced in urban ministry. Grow in learning how to make disciples and being on mission wherever you are in the context of community.
Mission Centers of Houston, Texas
May 27 – July 25
4 Students
- Students must have completed at least one year in a college or university or have completed one year of employment after High School.
- Students must be regularly involved in an evangelical Christian church and have been a Christian for at least 1 year prior to service.
Ministry opportunities include working with children and youth while assisting with games, crafts, Bible lessons, and more; food and clothing ministries; adult and senior adult programs; feeding the homeless; and serving community residents and centers through yardwork, home repair or general maintenance.
Montana

Come spend your summer in the wild west in Livingston, Montana surrounded by four beautiful mountain ranges. You’ll be working with a seven year old church plant, Expedition Church, that is already doing work in at least four surrounding towns. The activities we do will be tangible in nature responding to the crises of people and organizations.
Oakview Baptist Church Irving (Dallas), Texas

Work in a low socioeconomic, largely Latino area and experience the many diverse cultures of the Dallas Texas metroplex. Lead children’s camps and Vacation Bible School. Experience mentorship by a loving church staff and local seminary students.

Experience local church ministry training through church leadership, worship, and communications tracks. You will be poured into as you serve Christ in this church and northeastern community.
GenSend Summer
GenSend Summer offers students an opportunity to join God’s great story in some of North America’s greatest cities! It is an immersive exploration of what it means to live intentionally in community while sharing the gospel in a new city.
Metro New York Baptist Association
Support local churches in the metro New York area through various ministries purposefully created to meet specific needs.
Mission Arlington
Our missionaries lead Summer programs in cooperation with our mission congregations, and assist in the ongoing work of the Mission in its variety of forms.
Urban Immersion, Mission Centers of Houston, TX
In addition to community-based ministry, summer missionaries will lead visiting youth and family mission groups in prayer walking and serve alongside them in all of the MCH ministries.

Fully Funded Opportunities
Buenos Aires, Argentina
• May 26 – July 3 (Dates include a 5-day orientation in Richmond, VA before departing for Argentina)
• 4 Students (Must be member of a Southern Baptist church)
• Must be able to walk extensively to navigate the city and take public transportation regularly
• Conversational Spanish required
Partner with our team to encourage local churches in evangelism with university students and across the city. Be a part of discipling local believers to live out the Great Commission and to see the Gospel spread to other countries through the diverse transient university student population.
Czech Republic Interns (Full Summer)
June 3 – July 20
2 Students
Enjoy opportunities to work on campus at South Bohemia University and use the afternoons to work in the student center (called “The Hub”) with students ages 13-23. These student missionaries will arrive before and disciple the harvest produced by the short-term Czech team. They will be supervised by two seasoned IMB host missionaries.
London, England
May 21 – July 5
2 Students
Engage with university students from all over the world who suffer from loneliness, stress, anxiety, and depression with no knowledge of Jesus Christ and no access to the gospel. Prayer walk and initiate spiritual conversations with this spiritually dry population.
Oaxaca, Mexico
May 27 – July 17
4 Students
Serve the campus of Benito Juarez Autonomous University of Oaxaca (UABJO) in English Classes, coffee and conversation, and outreach fellowships. Student missionaries will also prepare and lead mission camps for teenagers to assist local churches reach their communities with the gospel.
Oslo, Norway
May 25 – June 27
2 Female Students
Must be able to walk and be on your feet 8 hours a day
Serve with Home Church in Oslo, Norway hanging out in a highly immigrant neighborhood that is going through a season of transition. Help operate an electric coffee bike used to travel throughout neighborhoods and serve espresso drinks, filter coffee, and waffles with the intent to have spiritual conversations.
Panama City, Panama
May 27 – July 17
2 Students
Collaborate with weekly US volunteers, contribute to a range of ministries across the country, and bridge the efforts of US volunteers and local initiatives. Your daily activities might include prayer walking, personal evangelism, university outreach, discipleship, and serving in various community engagement projects such as English conversation clubs.
Santiago, Chile
May 27 – July 17
2 Students
We will connect you as volunteers in local schools to build friendships with Chilean youth for the purpose of making disciples. Daily activities might include teaching English, leading sports and recreation, or spending time with new friends for evangelism and discipleship.

Grant Supported Opportunities
Visit imb.org/students to find opportunities for international missions service. Opportunities range from one week to ten weeks, or longer. If you are interested in an international missions opportunity with an entity other than IMB, please e-mail sendmenow@gabaptist.org with the details to learn if it is eligible for a Send Me Now grant.
Once approved for service in an international short term opportunity, students can apply for a Send Me Now grant of up to $1600 to help defray field or travel costs.
