Join our team in researching and engaging new areas of Buenos Aires where the gospel is not well known. Most of the 15 million people living in Buenos Aires do not have a relationship with Jesus. We want to enter into and start new works in some of the least reached areas of the city, including universities. Buenos Aires is a beautiful city that is rich in culture and history. Once you arrive, you’ll fall in love with the city and the people.
Clothing in Buenos Aires is similar to what you would find in a city in the USA. The months of June and July are winter in Buenos Aires, and the winter can be quite cold, but is varied. Prepare by having comfortable clothing (and a couple of nicer outfits for Sunday church), and include layers, including a heavy winter coat. You will feel the weather more because you will be out in it daily on public transportation and getting around town. Buenos Aires is known for being a late night culture. Many Argentine families have dinner at 10 PM or later, even on weeknights. Many ministry opportunities will be in the evenings, nights and on the weekends.
