Participants will be involved in different churches in the Marietta/Kennesaw/Smyrna area the first three weeks. The last week they will go to Puerto Rico for one week for mission VBS and mission outreach projects.
Students would need to be good at engaging kids and working alongside adult volunteers. They would need to have both physical and emotional energy as they share songs, stories, crafts, etc. with kids. They would need to be flexible and be able to adapt to different situations as needed. The team would need to have participants who are good in engaging others in a live worship experience with music, good on stage presence, demonstrations, story telling, etc. Some participants may need to be adept at social media, technology, etc. They would need to be able to plan together, work and share responsibilities. Some situations may call for students to know Spanish as some areas and people may speak Spanish.
