May 28-July 30
2 Christian Students (same gender)
Must have completed sophomore year of college before summer.
The strongest power of the gospel is the Kinship of Jesus’ love beyond every barrier between humans. Students will experience multi-cultural missions in South Korea and the Philippines. They will teach English to children and teenagers in Korea for the first month and then move to the Philippines with their Korean team mates where they will be involved in one-on-one evangelism & various ministries which may include: teaching English and Korean, worship dances, and playing musical instruments. It would be helpful if the students have training/experience teaching English. Team members must commit to the entire program from orientation through debrief. Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will then fly to Korea for your first month of ministry with your Korean team mates. After this first month of ministry you will travel to the Philippines for your next month of ministry where you will be supervised by Korean missionaries. Following your ministry time in the Philippines you will return to the US for a joint Nehemiah Teams debrief… sharing all God has done over the summer.
