Come alongside Mosaic Church as they live on mission in Vineyard, Utah—one of the most unchurched cities in North America. In a community where fewer than 0.6% of people profess faith in the biblical Jesus, there is an incredible need for believers who are willing to build relationships, ask good questions, serve others, and faithfully share the hope of the Gospel. During your time with Mosaic Church, you’ll get an inside look at what it takes to plant and establish a church in a spiritually unique and challenging cultural context.
You’ll spend time praying for local churches, neighborhoods, schools, college campuses, and the community through opportunities like Prayer on the Porch, while also participating in community outreach and relationship-building opportunities.
You’ll have the opportunity to engage with a community where many people come from a Latter-day Saint (LDS) background, giving you a firsthand experience of how to listen well, understand a different worldview, and communicate the Gospel with clarity, humility, and love.
This project is more than checking off ministry activities—it’s an opportunity to learn how to live on mission in a place where the Gospel is not widely known or understood. You’ll encourage and serve local churches, meet people where they are, pray for spiritual breakthrough, and grow in your confidence to have meaningful conversations about Jesus. Come ready to learn, serve, pray, build relationships, and step outside your comfort zone.
You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of church planting, cross-cultural ministry, and what it looks like to faithfully live as a follower of Jesus in a community that desperately needs to hear the Gospel.
