We’re looking for energetic, encouraging college students to join our team for FORGED Camp, a dynamic, Christ-centered experience for 6th-12th graders themed around a blacksmith’s shop. As a staff member, you’ll play a vital role in discipling students, building relationships, and helping them forge a lasting faith in Christ. You will model what it means to stay rooted in Christ in a world full of distractions.
A little about the camp: We serve 47 churches across Middle Georgia, many of which are small and led by bi-vocational pastors with limited children and youth ministries. Over 65 years ago, the Washington Baptist Association launched its own summer camp to reach these kids—and today, that legacy continues through WBA FORGED Camp. Last year, we welcomed over 70 students, a significant increase from just 45 a few years ago—and we’re believing God will bring over 100 this summer!
Our camp structure includes large group Bible studies called FORGE Groups and ANVIL Groups, which are small discussion groups led by staff who help campers unpack the FORGE study and grow in their faith through meaningful conversations.
