Summer 10:2 – Kings Hill Church Boston, Massachusetts
Couched between a declaration of Jesus’ power in Matthew 28:18 and the promise of Jesus’ presence in Matthew 28:20 is the Great Commission: “Go and make disciples.” Summer 10:2 is an invitation to experience more of both as you say ‘yes’ to Boston in June.
The name Summer 10:2 comes from Luke 10:2, where Jesus says:
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
This project is a response to that prayer—and an opportunity for you to live into the calling of being a sent one. During Summer 10:2, you’ll be equipped and stretched as a disciple-maker, surrounded by community, and immersed in the real spiritual needs of our city.
You’ll receive hands-on training, coaching, and regular rhythms of prayer and worship—all while making Jesus known.
You’ll engage in a range of evangelism environments, including conversational outreach on college campuses, prayer walks through under-served neighborhoods, sports-based outreach camps for kids and families, apologetic and worldview discussions, and serving alongside compassion ministries in the city.
Whether you’re new to evangelism or ready to deepen your boldness, Summer 10:2 will help you grow in confidence and compassion as you labor in the harvest. Come experience more of Jesus’ power and presence as you go where He is already at work.
