Camp Kaleo

Camp Kaleo is about pouring the gospel of Jesus into the lives of kids. He changes lives here and we are a part of that. We also like to have fun. We have a fun twist to everything from going by camp names (kids never learn staffers’ real names), to crazy skits, to morning fun at the flag pole, to calling all of our drinks and candy by camp names. Our culture is like a family. It is not just a summer job but rather a lifestyle of fun and ministry. We only take ourselves seriously when we are sharing the gospel or watching out for safety concerns. Be prepared to be goofy and be yourselves in Christ.

Job position: Camp Counselor – Primary job is to teach, facilitate activities for, supervise, provide spiritual example, and be responsible for children. Secondary responsibilities include cleaning, degrees of manual labor, possibly working with small sums of money, possibly helping with social media. Our staffers are involved in a wide range of tasks.

Applicants must be all about the gospel. Must have a passion to work with kids. Must enjoy working well as part of a team. Must be flexible and have a positive attitude.
