Reach the Nations Community Church is a small, multi-cultural, multi-ethnic church plant seeking to reach the world around us with the gospel by raising up ethnic believers and discipling them to go back to their home countries as ethnic missionaries. Our church is located in the most ethnically diverse square mile in the country, filled with primarily United Nations refugees. Just in our small square mile, we have over 120 nationalities represented and in our local high school, over 70 languages are spoken. We have around 10 nationalities represented in our church, and every Sunday, we worship in 4-5 languages. We are not merely an American church with many nations participating in American worship—we are a multi-ethnic church where the nations literally come together in worship. Student missionaries assist the church in the discipleship process. They will prepare for and lead short-term volunteer teams throughout the summer. Additionally, they spend time visiting the homes of our church members as well as the lost in our community doing anything from getting to know the lost people in our community to aiding in the integration process into the U.S. This past summer, some of our summer interns assisted in translating worship songs for corporate worship, helped equip our church members in learning to lead children’s church and helped on B&C farms, an off-shoot of our church that will help make our church self-sustaining.
